EndaStory
Philadelphia, PA
Every once in a blue moon we as a people receive a Revolutionary. From Moses to Malcolm and Martin, to Tupac; a fire will rise in the soul of an individual. A raging fire that cannot be extinguished. EndaStory is that next Revolutionary. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he knows all too well the tribulations that we face in the inner cities and all over the world. What may seem like great hip hop on the surface, is so much more enriching for the human spirit. But that's only if you take the time to listen to what's being said. EndaStory's art is his message, and the message is... well, find out for yourself...
On January 3, 1990, in Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, Idris Naim Fullard was born. As early as 2 years old it was evident that music was an interest in Idris, his favorite choice of toys being a plastic microphone, guitar, and a drum set. Upon first entering 2nd grade at The Lotus Academy, a private school specifically for African American cultivation, he enlisted in an annual oratorical contest. By 4th grade he had earned two 3rd place trophies, two 2nd place trophies, and one 1st place trophy which was awarded to him personally by the one and only Sonya Sanchez.
In 1999 he and his mother moved to Hollow Hill, a section in the Germantown area of Philly, but it wasn’t until the year 2001 that Idris and his best friend BJ (Lester London) decided to turn lead into gold. In other words, at age 11 he made a decision that changed his life forever, by turning his poetry into rap. Being exposed to music and cultures of all sorts by his parents, and an upbringing in Philly's low-income neighborhoods, led him to feel the urge to have a voice in his society.
In 2002 he met Andre (No Excuses) who was a counselor at a summer camp. The two immediately bonded and by the next summer, Dre had left the job to watch and mentor Idris every day while his mother was at work. Dre even gave Idris the name "EndaStory". Story would go on to build with Lester and Dre and in 2003, Dre entered him into a contest in which his freestyle was picked to air for a month straight on 100.3 FM The Beat radio station as an intro for the morning show "Jonsey in the AM". He went on to become the youngest person to legally perform in the iconic venue "Electric Factory" after advancing in a battle promoted by Sneaker Villa. He would return a year to win the tournament and become a "Fite Nite Champion".
During high school, EndaStory and his friends formed a functioning record label due to the lack of creative arts in Philadelphia schools that would eventually lead to the friends forming a group, and though it went through many names and the number of members decreased, they would settle on what you may know today as SAP-SciPhi, including himself, his cousin Deezion Del Gato, and best friend Killa Kal. After graduating they joined forces with South Philly native MIZ to create SPaceMuzik LLC in 2008. He spent the next few years recording and releasing massive amounts of music and 10 group projects. They performed endlessly, promoting their own shows including one at the legendary Trocadero Theater, and an open mic venue on 15th and South that ran for a year straight and brought out the best of Philly's artists. He continued to build with MIZ until his incarceration at which point, Story was forced to begin making moves for himself. With the help of Lester, SAP-SciPhi, and Dre; he would begin to carve out his name amongst the elite of the Tri State underground hip hop scene.
EndaStory and SPaceMuzik were heavily focused on using art to expose a broken judicial system. He also worked closely with Philadelphia legends and survivors of the 1985 MOVE Bombings - Pam and Ramona Africa. He was involved by assisting in raising awareness to the case of Mumia Abu-Jamal who has been imprisoned since 1982 for what many believe to be false accusations.
In 2011 Lester London signed to WondaMusic, a label owned by Jerry Wonda (bass player and producer for the Fugees & cousin of Wyclef Jean) best known for producing everything from Lauryn Hill's "Killing Me Softly" to Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie". EndaStory took advantage of this opportunity any way he could. He worked on songs with Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan, booked several A3C Festival appearances, performances at SOB's and BB Kings, was featured on BET showcases, opened for Jadakiss' Top 5 DOA Tour on 5 different dates (one of which was at the iconic TLA in Philadelphia) as well as performing for the likes of Black Thought, Uncle Murda, Melanie Fiona, Ebro (Hot 97), The Late Great Prodigy of Mobb Deep, and many more.
EndaStory’s contract ended in 2016. Since then, he has been quietly building his own empire with the same crew that’s been with him from the start. He and Lester formed their own entities and now own their own studios in New Jersey (Bridgeport / Home Bass Studios). They combined forces with their longtime friends in Jersey and along with SAP, they created a super group in 2020 called "High Society" including New Jersey natives Apollo Ali, Mute-Won, and Carte Blanche. In 2021, Story traveled to L.A. to meet with Emmy Award winning actor Jharrel Jerome (best known for his roles in the movie "Moonlight" as well as the Netflix series "When They See Us") Jharrel had expanded his endeavors into the music industry and was working with Lester on production, when he brought EndaStory on board as a songwriter.
EndaStory has released 12 solo projects and as of 2022, is currently working on
4 new solo projects slated to be released under his own imprint Home Bass LLC between 2022 and 2023. At 32 years old, it would seem as if Enda's Story were just beginning...
